This month we made follow-up visits to all five chapel communities involved in the program. We reminded participants about the necessity to keep the goats out of the rain and to place enough feed inside the shelters for them. Goats have to be placed inside in the early afternoon to avoid the rain. Another discussion point is vaccination of the goats. This is scheduled for the upcoming month. We also visited a farm that has 17 goats in a locality called Manze Marie (Noyau). This is the largest individual goat farm in the program to date. In Desvarieux, participants remain very interested to grow the program in their community since they realize that they can make significant economic progress.
