Magalie sells fried food in the morning and cooked food in the afternoon. Her business helps her a lot with her 6 children. She has been in business since she was younger. Her husband is a farmer. When the crops are ready, she goes to the market to sell them. When there are no crops she sells at home. She started in the micro loan with $40 and paid back in 5 months and we increased her 2nd loan to $55.
She said that in the women’s group she learned how to better run her business. Before she used to do her control by memorizing, but in the group, she learned to write everything down. That way she does not forget what her expenses were, and who owes her. She hopes that the women’s group grows.
